Helen Oestman

OESTMAN, Helen - age 98, of Fenton, died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Avalon Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, March 27, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David W. Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John the Evangelist G.I.F.T. Campaign. Mrs. Oestman was born August 13, 1909 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Stanley and Winifred(Lukas) Standish. She married Edward J. Oestman on July 4, 1936 and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Oestman was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: daughter, Barbara and husband, Ralph Grunewald of Fenton; brother, John Standish of CA; many nieces and nephews.
