Helen Gonyea

GONYEA, Helen "Bonnie" - Age 93, of Flint, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord, December 9, 2019. A memorial service will take place at 4PM Sunday, December 22 at Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, with visitation starting at 3PM. A private burial has already taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to the Catholic Charities, Genesee County. Bonnie was born February, 10, 1926 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Roscoe and Mary Williams. Bonnie graduated from Flint Northern High School. She married Clarence Gonyea at St. Agnes. She worked at Underwood's Furniture until she was in her 80's. Bonnie was an active member of St. Pius X for over 40 years. Bonnie loved to travel the world. She is survived by daughter; Jo Ann (Peter) Sinclair; grandchildren, Mike (Lori) Gonyea, Brian (Lauren) Gonyea, Peter (Mary Margaret) Sinclair II, Haley (Brent) Norris; great-grandchildren, Noah Gonyea, Carly Jo Gonyea, Brennan Gonyea, Easton Gonyea, Sybil Norris, Simon Norris; son-in-law, Joe Gramz; daughter-in-law, Peggy Gonyea; Several nieces and nephews.
