BORG, Helen Victoria - Age 82, of Linden, died Friday, August 14, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, Pastor E. Taveirne officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Fenton V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #3243. Mrs. Borg was born July 29, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Agar) Richards. She married Keenan D. Borg September 5, 1944 in Flint. She was a member of the Fenton V.F.W. Auxilary Post #3243. Mrs. Borg enjoyed bowling, knitting, gardening and bird watching. Surviving are: husband, Keenan; 5 children, Keenan Leslie and wife Ann Borg of Fenton, John Charles and wife Georgiana Borg of Flint, Ellen Victoria and husband Dean Stevenson of Linden, Carolyn Ann and husband John Mailhot of Clio, Lynell Marie and husband Mark Hochkins of Linden; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother, Charles and wife Darlene Richards of Flint; sister, Carol Lindsley of Clio; several nieces and nephews.
