BALLARD, Helen Flo - age 81, of Linden, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her residence. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ballard was born November 18, 1935 in Grundy, VA. She married William V. Ballard on September 27, 1980 and had lived in Linden for 21 years. Surviving are: husband, William V. Ballard; step-son, Richard Ballard; brother, Douglas (Linda) Lester of VA; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-children, Darlene and Billy Ballard; brother, Bill Lester; mother, Blanche Lester.
