Helen Sue Austin

AUSTIN, Helen Sue  Age 57, of Lennon, passed away Friday, April 22, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. A celebration of life will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lennon Lions Club. Helen was born May 17, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Francik) Leehman. She married Donald Austin on April 2, 1966 in Durand. Helen loved cats and traveling to casinos but most of all she loved her grandchildren. Surviving are: husband, Donald of Lennon; daughter, Julia and husband, Michael Jackson of Eaton Rapids; son, Jeffrey Austin and wife, Tracie of Swartz Creek; five grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Jackson, Madeline Calderon-Jackson, Brittney and Caleb Austin; three sisters, Mary and husband, Jim Gardner, Jane and husband, Lyle Olson, Dorothy Collins; many nieces and nephews.
