Heather Rose Hovis

HOVIS, Heather Rose  Age 13, of Linden, died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held 7 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-9 PM Tuesday, and 4 PM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Heather was born March 26, 1993 in Flint, the daughter of Terry and Debra (Bright) Hovis. She was a really good kid, who always said no to drugs. She was a tremendous help to her mother through her illness. Heather loved horses, snowboarding and playing the guitar; she wanted to be a 'rock star'. Surviving are her parents, Terry and Debra; siblings, Melissa, Brian, Jessica and Kara; nephew, Jason; her grandma and grandpa; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
