Hazel Jenkins

JENKINS, Hazel D. -- Age 96, of Lennon, died June 9, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Friday June 15 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 1209 Coutant Street, Flushing. Rev. Cliff Bira officiating. Burial in Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be held 10:30AM until time of service at the church on Friday. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Hazel was born December 27, 1921 in Lake Leelanau, Michigan the daughter of John and Gina (Sylt) LaBonte. She married Guy Jenkins May 27, 1944 he preceded her in death on April 10, 2006. Hazel was a wonderful person, to know her you were better for it. Hazel leaves behind 2 sisters, Inez Morrison, Evelyn LaBonte (Hollister); brother, Richard LaBonte. She has many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She will be missed by all.
