Hazel Hanson

HANSON, Hazel M.- Age 92, of Fenton, died April 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday April 29, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday and 11AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army or Shriners Hospital for Children. Hazel was born February 21, 1924 in Davison County TN the daughter of Homer C. and Ella Belle (Greer) Cuffman. She married Clarence Hanson on January 10, 1943 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2009. She attended GMI and Flint Junior College and was a member of Sigma Phi Gamma. Hazel retired from AC Spark Plug with forty plus years of service. She was a master gardener and loved working in her flowers. Hazel is survived by her son, Terry (Sarah) Hanson of Fenton; grandchildren, Lee (Tim) Haney, Pamela Hanson, Jennifer (Brett) Davies; great-grandchildren, Megan Haney, Samantha Haney, Kyla Davies. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; and brother, George. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to McFarlan Home and Lark Wilson.
