Hazel Irene Goodrich

GOODRICH, Hazel Irene (Vincent)  Age 91, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Durand Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Elder William Hogan officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Durand Convalescent Center Diversional Department. Mrs. Goodrich was born August 17, 1914 in Gaines, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Billyard) Vincent. She married Alden Lee Goodrich on May 12, 1934 in Flint. Mrs. Goodrich retired from AC Spark Plug in 1972 after 27 years of service. She was a member of U.A.W. Local # 651 and Cornerstone Baptist Church. She loved her family, kids, animals, working on her flowers gardens and feeding the birds. Surviving are: daughter, Lois and husband, Gary Dowd of Bancroft; three grandchildren, Paul McDermott of Naples, FL, Wendy and husband, William Hogan of Trenton, MI, Deann Mitosinka of Clarkston; six great-grandchildren, Nicole, Justin, Breanna, Katelyn, Tyler and Aaron. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; four brother; two sisters.
