Harvey T. Caldwell

CALDWELL, Harvey T., age 75 of Davison, transitioned peacefully, with his family singing by his side, on August 5, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Harvey's Life will take place at 4:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Oak Arbor Church, 495 Oak Arbor Circle W., Rochester, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Harvey to Gift of Life - Michigan (www.giftoflifemichigan.org). Harvey was born on June 28, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alfred Baker and Frances (Thornburg) Caldwell II. He graduated from Redford High School, continued his studies at Wayne State University before he eventually attended the Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine. He then became the owner and operator of Cotton Plus in the Courtland Center Mall. Harvey was a man of faith who attended church, enjoyed singing and at one time was a member of a local karaoke club. He enjoyed writing and was known for his blogs; "Kat Tracks" and "Song From The Heart". He loved to laugh, as well as make other people laugh, and he had a deep devotion to his cat, Fred; who preceded Harvey in death. 

Surviving are his children, Jennifer (Al) Lohmeyer of Walbridge, OH; Andrea (Russell) Pitcairn of Bryn Athyn, PA; Miriam (Lazare) Kokolo of Huntingdon Valley, PA; Christopher (Robyn) Caldwell of Easton, MD; Jonathan (Angela) Caldwell of NSW, Australia; Grandchildren, Robert Swartz; Khristine (Zackary) Kohlhofer; Zachary Kokolo; Adrien Kokolo; Skyler Pitcairn; Everlyn Caldwell; and very soon to arrive...Sophie Caldwell. Great-grandchildren, Addison; Harper; Dawson. Brothers, Al Caldwell of Novato, CA and Charly (Kim) Caldwell of Cumming, GA. Bonus family members, Jen and Rodney Woodbeck of Montrose. Nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends also survive. The family would like to thank the ICU Staff at McLaren Flint.
