Harry Ronald HILTNER

HILTNER, Harry R. - Age 84, of Fenton, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Linden V.F.W. Post 4642, Direct Relief Fund, P.O. Box 668, Linden, MI 48451. Harry was born July 11, 1926 in Muskegon, the son of Harry F. and Sarah (Goldberg) Hiltner. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He married Susan J. Sills April 24, 1994 in Fenton. Harry resided in Fenton for the past 26 years, coming from Ann Arbor and Grand Blanc. He was a psychotherapist who was involved with many people and went over and beyond his profession to help others. He was a member of the Ann Arbor V.F.W. Surviving are: wife, Susan; son, Jeffrey and wife Kathleen Hiltner; 2 grandchildren, Brent and Nicole; niece, Carissa and husband Andrew Ahearn and their children, Nicholas and Alyssa. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rachel Hiltner. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Caretel Inns of Linden for the exceptional care given Harry.
