PARKER, Harrison Duane "Harry" -- Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died November 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, November 6 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). Burial at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday at Hill Creek Church. Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Historical Society or Paws Animal Rescue. Harry was born January 14, 1935 in Flint the son of Laverne and Tressa (Perkins) Parker. He married Cheryl M. Persall July 17, 1954. He attended Swartz Creek Schools. He worked at A.D.T for 30 years as a supervisor. He also worked at Emery Trucking as a Truck Driver for 10 years. He was a member of the Durand Eagles, and Swartz Creek Historical Society. He was a Nascar Fan, and enjoyed Golfing and Deer Hunting. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Cheryl; daughter, Linda (Mike) Doran; brother, Jerry (Barbara) Parker; many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
