Harrel Jacob

Jacob, Harrel, Gene, "H" age 50, of Flint, died suddenly of lung cancer, Monday, June 9, 2008. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township with Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM and Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the funeral home.  Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or his Children's Educational Fund.  "H" was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School, retired from Flint Engine South after the V 8 Engine plant closed, and a member of Local 659.  He had a passion for singing and was known for winning many of the Karaoke contest he entered.  He enjoyed playing cards, NASCAR, and was proud of his ring for bowling a 300 game. Survivors include; his parents Ron and Connie Jacob of Grand Blanc,sons Mathew and Stone daughter Hailey,brothers, Randall Jacob of Grand Rapids, Dale and Nancy Jacob of Gaylord, and sister Chris E. Springer of Grand Blanc.  He was preceded in death by his mother Oneta Causby.
