Harold W. Tagge

TAGGE, Harold W.  Age 92, of Flint, died Friday, September 19, 2003 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, September 21, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Steven Maske officiating. Interment will be held at Bristol Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Saturday and 11 AM until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association. Mr. Tagge was born November 26, 1910 in Escanaba, the son of John and Minnie (Kolowski) Tagge. Mr. Tagge was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1947. He married Ruth Dewey. He then married Helen Miller and she preceded him in death in 1972, he then married Mary Winters on March 30, 1974 and she preceded him in death in 2001. Mr. Tagge was retired from Sears and Roebuck in 1973 after 26 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Co-founder of Swartz Creek Kiwanis Club and served as chairman of Inter Club. Surviving are: four sons, John Tagge and wife, Patricia of Flushing, Bruce Tagge and wife, Katherine of Peoria, IL, Robert Tagge and wife, Cindy of Boca Raton, FL, Miles Miller and wife, Mary Ann of Swartz Creek; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister; Trudy Riederich of Englewood, FL. He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Leonard Tagge and Roy Tagge; sister, Lillian Korf. Friends may share their online condolences with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
