Harold Phillips

PHILLIPS, Harold "Scott" - Age 53, of Davison, died Saturday, April 24, 2021.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller  Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Nate Brown officiating.  A live stream of the funeral service can be viewed on Scott's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Tuesday from 1-8 PM and at church Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Henry Ford Hermelin Brain Tumor Center or Ascension Genesys.

Scott was born September 7, 1967 in Flint, the son of Harold Franklin and Joyce Elaine (Ahrens) Phillips.  He was a 1985 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School and he received an Associates Degree in Nursing from Mott Community College.  He married Julie Gillespie August 25, 2020 in Flint.  He had resided in Davison since 2020 coming from Grand Blanc and Swartz Creek.  Scott was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek.  He touched many lives during his 23 years as a RN at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc.  He enjoyed golfing, cross fit, bowling, volleyball, target shooting, and amusement parks with his children.

Surviving are: his wife, Julie; children, Benjamin (Maranda) Phillips of Flint, Hannah Phillips of Swartz Creek, and John Phillips of Swartz Creek; stepdaughter, Eliana Yezbick of Davison; stepson, Isaiah Yezbick of Davison; mother, Joyce Phillips of Flint; sister, Brenda (Stewart) Auten of Flint; brother, Robert (Cindy) Stanfill of Clio; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and good friends, Jeremy, Dave, Craig, Brent, Todd, Mike, DeWayne, and Tony and many others.
