Harold Robert Richardson

RICHARDSON, Harold Robert  Age 85, of Deerfield Twp., died Saturday, September 20, 2003 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Howell. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will be in Sharp Cemetery. Deerfield Twp. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Harold was born November 26, 1917 in Deerfield Twp., the son of Homer and Lulu (Holcomb) Richardson. He had resided in Deerfield Twp. most of his life, where he continued to maintain the family farm. He married Evelyn Wickenhiser on July 27, 1946. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII in Germany and France. He retired from Milford Proving Grounds in 1974. Surviving are: wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Carolyn Howitt, Shirley Sage, Barb and husband Les Mathews; six grandchildren, Tina, Kelly, Matt, Mike, Jenny and Levi; four great-grandchildren; sister, Doris and husband Chet Clore; many nieces and nephews.
