Harold Plummer

Plummer, Harold Daniel went home to be with his Savior Jesus on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 73.  Harold was born October 27, 1949 in Wayne, Michigan. He was the oldest of five children born to  Harold W. and Alice (Sampson) Plummer. He attended Fenton Schools and graduated from Fenton High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion and was a graduate of the Class A Builders school. Following service in the Navy, he attended Kirtland College in Roscommon. He earned a Residential Builders License and Real Estate Broker's License, actively working in the building, construction and real estate industries. Harold was the proud father of five children and six grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Surviving are: four children, Daniel Plummer, Jonathan Plummer (Ashleigh Simon), Timothy Plummer (Olivia Dodson), Annie (Mark) Reid; grandchildren, Jaidah, Layla, Willow, Westley, Mavryk, Raelyn; four siblings, Linda (Greg) Hoover, Ron Plummer, David (Sue) Plummer, Pam (Terry) Strawser; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Plummer.
Harold had a strong relationship with the Lord and frequently shared his faith with others. He faithfully prayed for his kids and was a mighty prayer warrior. He was a member of Cornerstone Highland Church and was active in the choir and many other ministries. He enjoyed serving on the National Ski Patrol in the winter months and taking his sons along. Vacationing in Grand Marais with his family was a favorite destination. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking, especially making pasties with his children. He also loved music of all kinds; singing, playing his prized Martin D28 guitar, and attending the Flint Symphony.
Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Cornerstone Church, 4995 N. Hickory Ridge Road, Highland, Thursday, December 8 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
