O'BRIEN, Harold S. - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died June 26, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday June 30 at St Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Fr Louis Ekka celebrant. Private interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Mundy Township, where a rosary will be prayed 7 PM Friday. Visitation will also be 10AM until time of mass at St. Mary Church on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Senior Center. Harold was born May 1, 1934 in Flint the son of George and Hilda (Dennis) O'Brien. He married Arlene V. Cajka September 2, 1961 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Harold was an active member of the Swartz Creek Senior Center. He is survived by his wife Arlene; 2 sisters Jane (Don) Harwood, Vada (Douglas) Masak; brother, Bill O'Brien; 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret O'Brien, Edna Harris; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and James Vacik; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Chester and Robert O'Brien; and mother-in-law, Frances Cajka. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
