JOHNSON, Harold R. - age 92, of Flint, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Durand Senior Care. Friends may call at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek from 12-8 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church - Memorial Fund. Harold spent most of his life in Flint, MI. He retired from GM Chevy Engine Plant after 37 years. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Betty; son, Loren Madden and wife, Kathy of Charleston, SC; grandsons, Chris and Craig; grandson, Brian Johnson and wife, Bonnie of Flint; five great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchild; niece, Carol Bryan and nephew, Charles Johnson.
