BRANNON, Harold Eugene - age 90, of Flint, died February 2, 2023. A memorial service will be held at later date. Mr. Brannon was born March 27, 1932 in Campbell, MO, the son of Russell and Vallie (Smith) Brannon. He married Emma Baning on May 24, 1954. Harold retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant after 32 years of service. He loved working on cars, his Bible and loving and caring for his whole family. Gene was above all passionate and proud of all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a quiet and kind gentleman, holding the highest integrity in family and life. You could usually find him in his backyard or mowing his lawn. He loved the outdoors and being active. If you ever met him, you just knew he was different. He was pure, and so sweet.The kind of person you come across once in a lifetime. We want to say thank you to hospice for his very special nurses that loved him So much Tanya and Danielle, we will be forever great full for you. Surviving are: wife, Emma; five children, Dan (Julie) Brannon, Susan (Dave) Hunt, Barbara Shelswell, Katherine Gadalla, and David Brannon; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Doyle (Ann) Brannon, Marvin (Sharon) Brannon, and Russell Brannon, Jr. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, James Everett Brannon.
