Hallie Juanita Fanchier

Fanchier, Hallie Juanita - Age 74, of Flint, died January 29, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Emmanuel Church 6434 Richfield Road, Flint. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Monday, February 3 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center; and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 11 AM at the church on Tuesday. Hallie was born August 26, 1950 in Flint, the daughter of George and Juanita (Roseberry) Hoskey. She was a 1968 graduate of Kearsley High School where she excelled in sports. Hallie also was a graduate of The University of Michigan where she earned her Bachelors and Masters degree. She married Robert "Bob" Fanchier on July 12, 1980. She worked for Buick City. She then went on to teach school at Haas Elementary School in the Genesee School District until her retirement. Hallie enjoyed water aerobics with her outdoor adventure family. She is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Bob; 2 daughters, Kristi (Joshua) Butler, Karen (Mark) Albright; grandchildren, Gabriel, Josiah, Kamara, Julianna, Grant, Jaxon, and Ayden; siblings, Paul (Whinni) Hoskey, Dean Hoskey, Jane (Rob) Carsten; many nieces and nephews.
