Gwendolyn Russell

Russell, Gwendolyn L. Age 86, of Flint Twp., died February 13, 2020. Memorial service will be held 12PM Tuesday, February 18 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Visitation will be held 10AM until the time of the service. Gwendolyn was born October 16, 1933 in Paris, TN., the daughter of Rex and Velma (Ridinger) Story. She married William Russell on March 7, 1954 in Corinth, MS., he preceded her in death on March 17, 2018. Gwendolyn enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. She is survived by her children, William "Mike" (Dorothy) Russell of TN., Samuel "Mark" (Linda) Russell of Swartz Creek, and Cindy Suttle of Swartz Creek; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Hazen, Betty Joyce Dean; her beloved dog Romey.
