Gwendolyn Irene MORGAN

MORGAN, Gwendolyn Irene - Age 73, of Fenton, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Crestmont Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or Heartland Hospice. Gwen was born August 6, 1937 in Pontiac, the daughter of Owen and Elizabeth (Johnson) Morgan. She attended Elmwood Elementary in Auburn Heights, was a graduate of Ortonville High School and then received her LPN degree from Oakland Community College. She had resided in Fenton since 1996 coming from Waterford. Gwen retired as a LPN from Clinton Valley Hospital (Pontiac State Hospital) after 20 years of service. Surviving are: brother, Ronald E. and wife Mary Ann Morgan of Fenton; nephew, Ronald O. Morgan of White Lake; niece, Barbara L. and husband Jeffery Gibson of Fenton; 3 great nieces, Jeffery Gibson, Jason Gibson and Nicole Andreycak; great-great niece and nephew, Austin and Skyla.
