Guy F. Jenkins

JENKINS, Guy F.  Age 92, of Lennon, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1209 Coutant St., Flushing with Rev. Clifford Bira officiating. Interment will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice. Mr. Jenkins was born July 2, 1912 in Clayton Twp, the son of William F. and Rena (Matthews) Jenkins. He married Hazel LaBonte on May 27, 1944 in Flushing. Mr. Jenkins worked for Buick Motor Division of 10 years and owned and operated G & H Grocery and J & J Services. Surviving are: wife, Hazel Jenkins of Lennon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Seldon and Cecil Jenkins; 3 sisters, Lucille Childs, Bonetia Allen, Edna Barlow.
