Grigor Dobromil

DOBROMIL, Grigor "George"- of Swartz Creek, died May 27, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, May 30 at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3464 W. Pasadena, Flint, Fr. Bogdan Rybchuk celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, 12-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek ; and from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church on Friday. A Panahyda service will be 7 PM Thursday. Grigor was born April 19, 1924 in Myrne, Ukraine, the son of Andrin and Maria (Bajko) Dobromil. He married Joanne Rust in 1955 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint. He became a U.S. Citizen in 1956. He worked as a Bricklayer/Mason retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church. Surviving are: son, Michael Dobromil; daughter, Diane (Mike) Kleinedler; grandchildren, Stefanie and Mitchell Dobromil.
