Greydon Alwin Faul

March 21, 1917 — April 16, 2006

FAUL, Greydon Alwin- Age 89, of Flint formerly of Holland and Grand Rapids, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Avalon Hospice.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Minister Alan Jones Officiating.  He will be buried at Woodland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or a charity of ones choice .  Mr. Faul was born March 21, 1917 in Woodland, the son of Lawrence L. and Jessie (Briggs) Faul.  He graduated from Woodland High School and than graduated from Northwestern University.  He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.  He married Helen Leone Kloote August 23, 1947 in Grand Rapids.  He retired in 1982 from Imrie Dry Kiln Co. and had also worked for Wolverine Shoe and Tanning Co.  He was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Holland.  He was an avid woodworker and had made many pieces of furniture.  Surviving are:  wife Helen L. and son, Terrel J. Terry and wife Linda Faul of Holly; 2 nephews, Gordon Arnie of Woodland and Jack Arnie of Cadillac.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Arnie.
