FAUL, Greydon Alwin- Age 89, of Flint formerly of Holland and Grand Rapids, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Avalon Hospice. Â Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Â Minister Alan Jones Officiating. Â He will be buried at Woodland Memorial Park. Â Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until time of service. Â In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or a charity of ones choice . Â Mr. Faul was born March 21, 1917 in Woodland, the son of Lawrence L. and Jessie (Briggs) Faul. Â He graduated from Woodland High School and than graduated from Northwestern University. Â He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. Â He married Helen Leone Kloote August 23, 1947 in Grand Rapids. Â He retired in 1982 from Imrie Dry Kiln Co. and had also worked for Wolverine Shoe and Tanning Co. Â He was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Holland. Â He was an avid woodworker and had made many pieces of furniture. Â Surviving are: Â wife Helen L. and son, Terrel J. Terry and wife Linda Faul of Holly; 2 nephews, Gordon Arnie of Woodland and Jack Arnie of Cadillac. Â He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Arnie.
