Gregory Sharp

SHARP, Gregory Lee - Age 57, of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Floodgate Renewal Fellowship, 1623 S. Old U.S. 23, Brighton. Pastor Bill Bolin officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family. Greg was born July 25, 1956 in Flint the son of Aubra Ernest and Patricia Mae (Myers) Sharp. He was a 1974 graduate of Carman High School and a 1979 graduate of Spring Arbor College. He was a third generation builder and developer for Sharp Homes. He was a member of Floodgate Renewal Fellowship and a past president of Flint Area Association of Realtors. Greg also coached football in Fenton for 20 years, from youth to varsity. Surviving are: wife, MaryAnn Sharp; 5 children, Joshua and wife Natalie Sharp of Washougal, WA, Layne and husband Jeremy Mulanix of Fenton, Emily and husband Colbert Prince of Colorado Springs, CO, Abigail and husband William Hartman of Colorado Springs, CO, and Aubra Zachaiah "Zach" Sharp of Fenton; 7 grandchildren, Avery, Gabriel, Zoe, Rowan, Grady, Aubrey, and Viola; mother, Patricia and husband Donald Smith of Lake; 5 siblings, Michael and wife Marsha Sharp of Pleasant Lake, Todd and wife Susan Sharp of Okemos, Stephen and wife Susan Sharp of Grand Blanc, Lisa and husband Raymond Stewart of Flint Township, and Kelly and husband Derrick Toone of Williamston; and several nieces and nephews.
