Gregorio Ramirez

RAMIREZ, Gregorio Báez "Papi" - Age 89, of Burton Michigan, went to be with the Lord God Almighty on Monday, July 12, 2021. He passed away at McLaren Hospital of Flint, surrounded by his beloved sons and daughters. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Gregorio will be laid to rest at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc at a later date. In accordance with Gregorio's wishes cremation has taken place.

Gregorio was born on Monday, February 15, 1932 in Caguas, PR to the late Paula Báez and Ricardo Ramirez. Gregorio was retired from General Motors in Flint.

He is survived by his younger brother, Mario Ramirez; two daughters, Yolanda Karas and Diana (Michael Jr) Fitchett; three sons, Grey, Richard, and Robert (Courtney) Ramirez; grandchildren, Yolanda M. and Jimmy Karas; Jaimie, Angelique, Christy, Cruz, Annamaria, Christopher Ramirez; Bryan A. and Brandon A. Collins; Erica, Ricky, Tobi, Mia, Nicholas, Julianna Ramirez; Heather L. and Amanda M. Fitchett; Olivia and Sofia Ramirez; Kimberly, Rudy, and Tony Zapata; and many great-grandchildren.

Gregorio was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dominga Z. Ramirez; two daughters, Ana Maria Z Ramirez and Paula Z. Collins; and his stepson, Rudy Zapata.

He was a very caring and generous father to all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was very gregarious and enjoyed talking to people and spending a lot of time with his family. Gregorio was loved by all his family and he will be deeply missed in the years to come.
