Greg 'GEEZ' GROESSER

GROESSER, Greg "GEEZ" ï¿Â½" age 58, of Fenton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 25, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, followed by military honors under the auspices of the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday from 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Greg was born July 25, 1951 in Flint, the son of Ron and Betty Groesser. The family moved to Fenton when he was 12 and Greg remained a Fenton resident for the rest of his life. He graduated Lake Fenton High School in 1969, a multiple-lettered varsity athlete. Greg volunteered and proudly served his country in the Army in Vietnam. Upon his return home he worked at the family-owned Fireplace Lounge, before beginning his career in computer network communications. He was employed at Fiserv Corporation for the past 15 years. A family man, he loved golf, bowling and the camaraderie as a proud "Lowrider" and "Snapper". He loved time with friends and family and had a way of making everyone feel special. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Yvonne; daughters Nicole Campbell of Fenton, Brandy (Robert) Moore of Kalamazoo, and Amber (Geoff) Papineau of Fenton; grand children Skylar Glotfelter (Campbell) and Brooklyn and Griffin Moore; father Ronald Groesser of Fenton; sisters Verna (Doug) Derwin, Vicki (Doug) Murany, Mardell (Laird) Landis, and Rhonda (Lee) Nunn all of Fenton, many nephews, and more friends than most can imagine.
