Gordon Williams

Williams , Gordon Earl - Age 87, of Flint, died April 30, 2017. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, May 4 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Gordon was born March 1, 1930 in Flint the son of Earl and Mary (Tilley) Williams. Gordon served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was married to Amy Lucille Talley on July 19, 1963 in Durand; she preceded him in death May 16, 2003. He retired from GM Chevrolet in 1980 with 32 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post 822, American Legion Post 342, and U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: sister Lyn Ward of Swartz Creek; sister-in-law, Judy Williams of Linden; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver Pat Mass.
