Gordon Leo Gaynor

January 1, 1933 — August 14, 2006

GAYNOR, Gordon Leo, age 73 of Flint, died Monday, August 14, 2006 at home.  Gordon was born January 1, 1933 in Flint a son of William and Mary M. (Graway) Gaynor. Gordon served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He lived in Florida on and off until he met Lois McKeny in 1985 and together they resided in Flint.  He is survived by his companion, Lois McKeny and her children and his sister, Geraldine Belcher-Dowland and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; Richard who died in WW II, Raymond, Donald and Ralph and 3 sisters; Margorie Whaley, Connie Preston and Rosemary Waltz.  Gordon's family give their special thanks to all of the McKeny family and to the Genesys Hospice. Cremation has taken place by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Grand Blanc, Twp. and a burial service with military honors will take place later at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
