BURTON, Gordon Lee - Age 65, of Davison, died Saturday, May 24, 2014. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 5-9 PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project. Gordon was born January 18, 1949 in Columbia, South Carolina the son of George and Lena Rosa (Ratke) Burton. He was graduate of Flint Central High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Gordon married Inga V. Smirnova February 20, 1999 in Flint. He retired from AC/Delphi as a Experimental Model Maker. He enjoyed sailing, woodworking, and flying. Surviving are: wife, Inga; 2 children, Kristen and husband David Ziemer and Steven Burton both of Alaska; grandchildren, Hannah and Tyler Ziemer; sister, Carolyn and husband Gregory Neuffer of Fenton; and mother-in-law, Liliay Smirnova of Davison.
