Goffrey 'Jeff' O. Wolfe

WOLFE, Goffrey Jeff O.  Age 88, of Flushing, died Monday, December 22, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 26, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Tuesday and 2-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Shriners Childrens Hospital. Mr. Wolfe was born March 15, 1915 in Dungannon, VA, the son of Ezra and Victoria (Collins) Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a veteran of WW II, earning many metals including the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He retired from General Motors in 1973 after 39 years of service. Mr. Wolfe was a member of F&AM Genesee Lodge # 174, Bay City Consistory, Elf Khurafeh Temple, AASIO Shrine Club, Fenton Shrine Club, a life member of Davison Shrine Club, V.F.W. Chevrolet Post #3087, life member of D.A.V Genesee Post # 3, American Legion Post # 29, Platte Grange # 1328 in Honor, MI, U.A.W. Local # 659. Surviving are: daughter, Betty and husband, Julius Thomas of Clio; son, Goffrey Jack Wolfe of Kingsport, TN; two granddaughters, Rhonda Bryant of Kingsport, TN, Vickie Wolfe of Trenton, NJ; two sisters, Elizabeth Lamberti  of Raleigh, NC, Mary Bond of Kingsport, TN. Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by: wife, Hazel Wolfe in 1985; sister, Vialetta Cox; brother, Tom Wolfe. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Fostrian Manor.
