Glovis Hunter

HUNTER, Glovis M. - age 78, of Mundy Twp./Fenton, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. with Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army. Mrs. Hunter was born October 1, 1930 in Nadeau, MI and attended Bendle High School. She married Wallace Hunter and he preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Hunter resided in the Fenton and Linden area most of her life. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and very involved in the Fenton community. Surviving are: six children, Jan (Jack) Michalik of Rankin, Denise Hunter of Fenton, David (Lauren) Hunter of Fenton, Greg Hunter of Mundy Twp., Pat (Jimmy) Jircik of TX, Rose Scholl of Grand Blanc; eight grandchildren, Sue, Bob, Blake, Charlie, Brad, Jess, Breanna, Katie; four great-grandchildren, Megan, Gabby, Tyler and Peyton.
