Gloria Dzendzel

DZENDZEL, Gloria Ionia - age 77, of Flint Twp., died Thursday, August 2, 2018. Services will be held 3 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel's temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek (Mundy Twp.). Visitation will be held 1 PM - 3 PM Tuesday at the church. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution, please do so to the charity of your choice. Gloria was born March 18, 1941 in Onaway, MI, the daughter of Ozro and Hazel (Fisher) Smith. She married Robert Dzendzel in 1962. Gloria worked for 30 years as a hostess and waitress at Hudson's (now, Macy's) Restaurant.. Surviving are: husband, Robert of Flint Twp.; daughter, Melinda (John) McLeod of Byron; two sons, Robert Dzendzel of Flint, and Jason (Nicole) Dzendzel of Holly; six grandchildren, Megan (Brandon), Jaylin, Landon, Logan, Nick, and Fawn; three sisters; and one brother.
