BURGESS, Gloria M. -- "Mom to many", Age 82, of Fenton, died March 10, 2010 at Crestmont Healthcare Center. Funeral Mass 12:30 PM Saturday, March 13 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Interment in St. John Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, 2-8 PM Friday with a 7 PM Vigil service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and 11:30 AM until the time of mass at St. John on Saturday. Gloria was born May 8, 1927 in Detroit the daughter of Luis and Elizabeth (Lesha) Salas. She was married to Jack Burgess who preceded her in death in 1975. Gloria worked for John's Pizzeria in Fenton for 25 years, and Mr. Convenience at Hill and Linden Road for many years. Her family was most important to her and she was the "Rock" of the family. Surviving are: children, Joseph A. and wife Sue of Grand Rapids, Pamela and husband David Bluhm of Swartz Creek, Sandra J. and husband Brian Mann of Fenton, Robert K. and wife Kathy of Fenton, Charles and wife Kim of Holly, James and wife Debbie of West Olive, MI, Daniel L. of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Jeremy, Vanessa, David, Lindsey, Brian, Michelle, Heather, Bob Jr., Jeffrey, Steven, Cheryl, Guy, Matt, Mitch, Chazidee, Elizabeth, Jason; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brianna, Kelsi, Jordan, Carter, Gregory, Jocelyn, Lauren Marie, Saylor, Elexis, Amir, Nessim, Emerson, and Easton.
