Gloretta "Greta" Bourne

BOURNE, Gloretta Joan "Greta" - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, died February 4, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation held 12:00 PM Sunday until the time of the Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Gloretta was born April 21, 1933 in Fenton Township, the daughter of Albert and Caroline (Christian) Hogan. She married William Bourne on June 7, 1958 and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2016. She retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. Greta enjoyed golfing, traveling and playing cards with friends. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, David (Lesa) Bourne, Julie (Javiar) Oraa; grandchildren, Michael Bourne, John Oraa, Miren Oraa and  Eric Barnes;  brother, Paul Hogan; sister, Diane Hogan; sister-in-law Beth Bourne; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Diane, Paul, and Stacey. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Bourne; sister-in-law, Sandy Hogan; brother-in-law, Harry Bourne.
