Glenna Russell

RUSSELL, Glenna - Age 90, of Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away March 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service. Glenna was born October 21, 1932 in Corbin, KY, the daughter of Raymond and Stella Payne. She was a founding member of Deliverance Tabernacle, where she taught Sunday school and did the church bulletins for over 50 years. Glenna enjoyed sewing, crocheting and in her earlier years, leather work. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her joy. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Gary) Thomas; son, Clifton (Kasey) Russell; grandchildren, Joshua (Kayla), Lauren, Caleb (Raela), Bryce, Bradyn and Brianne; great-grandchildren, Justine, Kylie, Kelsey, Kassidy and Gerrett; sisters, Phyllis and Charlotte; brother, Billy Joe Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conrad Russell; sister,  Jackie Collins.
