Glenn Spencer

SPENCER, Glenn Allen -- Age  66, born October 17, 1956, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023. Raised in Flint Michigan, he was a lifelong resident of the community. Glenn graduated from Ainsworth High School and attended Mott Community College.  He will be deeply missed by his parents Rose (Nowaczyk) and Gordon Spencer, sister Susan (Richard) Wassmuth, sister Sandra LaCroix, and brother Greg (Beth) Spencer. Glenn's nieces and nephews include Michael (Kelsey) LaCroix, Sarah (Ben) Wollett, Jacob LaCroix, Nathan Wassmuth and Gabriella Spencer and Great Niece Savannah and Great Nephew Callahan.

Glenn worked for the Genesee County Road Commission for 25 years as a mechanic.  He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed collecting and restoring classic Corvettes. His creative skills included wood working and leather crafting. He enjoyed tinkering on and repairing bicycles while amassing a unique collection. His fondness for music led to his love of guitars. He loved to break out in song randomly. He enjoyed movies. He liked to golf and attended fitness class and swimming at University of Michigan-Flint routinely. His dogs Ginger and Blue gave him companionship.
