Glenn Wayne Huffman, a longtime resident of Swartz Creek, went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 25th. He was 86 years old. He was born in Flint, MI to Harvey and Dollie (Pruitt) Huffman on March 14, 1938. He married Erma Blosser on November 10, 1956, in Harrison, MI. He grew up in Flint, attending Dye High School. He was recognized for his dedication and many years of service to Boy Scout Troop 33 for disabled scouts. He was a trustee and Building Inspector on the Clayton Township Board. He was the owner of Anchor Custom Drywall until his retirement. Glenn was like a second father to some and would go out of his way to help those in need.

He leaves behind his wife, Erma, sons; Steven (Barb) Huffman, Thomas (Candis) Torman, Daniel (Diana) Torman, all of Flint, MI. daughters; Cheryl (Michael) Zeffer of Pensacola, FL, Lorri Huffman-Urbeck (Jeff Binder) of Clio, MI., seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his father (1975), mother (1983), siblings; Samuel, James, Herbert, Jane Elizabeth Ureche, Dale, son, Wayne (2016), grandson, Curtis (2022), great-granddaughter, Annabelle (2015).

There will be no viewing. Memorial service to be held at Calvary Christian Church, Corunna Rd, Swartz Creek, with burial at Crestwood Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date.
