DOBBS, Glenn Guy - Age 69, of Alger, died Monday, July 28, 2014. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Glenn was born November 1, 1944 in Flint, the son of Glenn and Agnes (White) Dobbs. He served in the U.S. Army and had been employed by Altas Technologies in Fenton. Surviving are: 3 children, Candis and husband Dan Waltz of Grand Blanc, Shelie and husband Jerry Robinson of Davison, and Glenn and wife Jackie Dobbs of Cadillac; special nieces, Idabelle Dobbs and Fiance Rick and Dorothy and husband Alex Partlo both of Alger; 4 grandchildren, Angela and husband Scott Martin of Swartz Creek, Brandon and wife Brittney Dobbs of Lake George, Kyle Robinson and Ashley Cheek of Davison, and Rochelle Robinson of Davison; 4 great grandchildren, Hailey, Ashley, Myla, and Aria; 3 sisters, Mable and husband Bill Hagler of Gaines, Glenda and husband Ron Laferney of Holly, and Debbie and husband Dan Johnson of Holly; 2 brothers, Art and wife Sherry Dobbs of West Branch and Harry and wife Sue Dobbs of Fenton; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Candice Dobbs; and 3 brothers, Fray, Dell, and Larry Dobbs. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
