Glenn Coquigne

COQUIGNE, Glenn Howard - Age 78, of Mundy Township, died Thursday, February 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Bristol Cemetery, Flint Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Glenn was born October 1, 1941 in Durand, the son of John B. and Elsie E. (Needham) Coquigne. He was a 1960 graduate of Ainsworth High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Doris Jean Manning September 10, 1966 in Swartz Creek. Glenn retired from General Motors after 40 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. and the Linden Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and doing yard work.

Surviving are: his wife of 53 years, Doris; daughters, Jill Gordon of Portage and Lorie (Fred) Coquigne-McLean of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Paulina (Corey) Pound of Phoenix, AZ, Paige Neumann (Aaron Presley) of Saginaw, Justin Gordon of Grand Rapids, Tyler Gordon of Portage, and Alec Gordon (Madison Selkirk) of Kalamazoo; great grandsons, Silas, Wyatt, Ella, and Lainie; sister, Sarah (Ed) Clark of Mundy Township; sister in law, Judy McDowell of North Branch, and several nieces and nephews.
