CARLSON, Glenn Joseph, age 58, of Flint, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. Glenn was born November 12, 1952 in Rensselaer, Indiana the son of Arne Wayne "Butch" and Marcia Carol (Bolt) Carlson. He was raised in Lowell, Indiana and later in life moved to Michigan. Glenn was a talented master welder who was respected by all for his dedicated work ethic. He was employed by Delduca Welding for many years, where he will be missed by everyone. Most recently, Glenn loved his trips to Minnesota, Georgia and Alaska, where he enjoyed boating, fishing and hiking with his beloved family. Glenn was a kind man, with a generous nature and a hearty laugh. Surviving are his son, Benjamin Arne Carlson of Anchorage, AK; mother, Marcia Carlson of Lowell, IN; two sisters, Angie and husband, George Cilek of Northhome, MN, Sue and husband, Dan Okon of Alpharetta, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
