RICE, Glendy C.- Age 73 of Flint Mi. passed away Tuesday February 11 2009, surrounded by his loved ones. At his request there will be no services , private burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Glendy was born July 19, 1935 in Pierre South Dakota. He attended school in Belvidere South Dakota. Glendy served his country for 4 years in the navy as a cook, and retired from General Motors with 35 years of service. He is survived by his son David (Cris) Rice of Flint; his daughter Deborah (Greg) Beebe of Flint; daughter Kim (Brian) Gates of Ohio; grandchildren Annette, Tyler, Torrey, Taylor, Winston, Wesley; brother Frank (Alice) of SD; Uncle Joe (Kathleen) Leutenegger of SD; Aunt Mary Puls of OH. He is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and uncle. Contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Glendy has Gone Fishing.
