During his time of service, he worked on the last propeller driven combat fighter plane, the Aky Raider. He also was very excited for the opportunity to work on the F104 Starfighter jet. Glen was proud to be a United States Navy Veteran and loved his country.  He shared this special connection with his son, who served in the United States Army. Glen was so proud of his great-grandson, Jackson, who recently enlisted in the United States Navy.

Glen was a social man who enjoyed the company of others. He appreciated good conversation and always had a story to tell. He loved a good meal and going out to eat, especially to the local coney island restaurants. He was also an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and looked forward to duck and deer hunting every season.
