Gladys Arvilla Patson

PATSON, Gladys Arvilla - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 1PM Thursday, December 7 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Associate Pastor Shawn Cook officiating. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, 12-3 and 5-8 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Mrs. Patson was born June 19, 1922 in Flint, the daughter of George and Bessie (Parker) Brockway. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1965. She was a former member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. Mrs. Patson loved to play cards. Surviving are daughter, Lisa Marie Patson of Swartz Creek; grandson, Michael John Patson; step-daughters, Norma Reasoner and Donna Lassiter; 2 sisters, Mildred Bailey and Pearl White; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Patson in 1981; 3 brothers, Cecil, Leo and Francis Brockway; niece, Lynn Bailey; 2 nephews, Gregg Bailey and Russell Brockway.
