Gilberthe Hawrylo

HAWRYLO, Gilberthe Colombe - Age 94, of Fenton, died October 13, 2017. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Gilberthe was born October 22, 1922 in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Zephir and Rachel (Gervais) Mailhot. She was married to John P. Hawrylo on March 6, 1943 in Flint; he preceded her in death on December 8, 1995. Mrs. Hawrylo retired from General Motors in 1982 after 26 years of service. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church since 1960. She is survived by her son, John Michael Hawrylo; grandchildren, Eric Hawrylo, Janis (Thomas) Gunn, Christina (Brion) Freeman, Cameron (Annissa) Hawrylo, Rachel Hawrylo, Timothy Vega; 10 great-grandchildren.
