DEERING, Gertrude Mae, age 77, of Flint passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 at Brian's House, Davison. Funeral Services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Pastor Mike Haines officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Gertrude was born May 7, 1932 in Florence, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Charles Bryan and Jennie Elizabeth (Jones) Polmatier. Surviving are her two children, Joe Polmatier (Mary) of Millington, Patricia Sullivan (Bob) of Grand Blanc; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Polmatier of Flint; sister, Dorothy Brown of Flint; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Deering; daughter, Erma Jean Hanson; and 3 siblings.
