Gerhard "Gary" Mueller

MUELLER, Gerhard "Gary" Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, August 12, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Elms Road Church of God, 2393 Elms Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor David Goertzen officiating.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Friday from 4-8 PM and at church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Gary was born April 1, 1940 in Jaegerndorf, Czechoslovakia, the son of Albert and Else (Rosenthal) Mueller.  He was a 1961 graduate of Southwestern High School.  He married Edith Tocholke February 3, 1968 in Flint.  He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1967 coming from Flint.  Gary retired in 2000 from GM Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant after 39 years of service; He then went to work for Shivley Brothers for 5 years. He was a faithful member of Elms Road Church of God for many years.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Surviving are: his wife, Edith; sons, Harold (Aganetha) Mueller of Lubbock, TX and Richard (Jenifer) Mueller of Seminole, TX; grandchildren, Alarick (Martha) Mueller of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, Aidan (Alexandra) Mueller of Lubbock, TX,  Matthew Mueller, and Olivia Mueller both of Seminole, TX; sisters, Linda Jaeger of Flushing and Erika (Harold) Kilp of Armada Township; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Amy Mueller; and brothers, Reinhold and Gustav Mueller; sister, Alma Krueger.  Online tributes may be posted on www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
