WRICE, Gerard Francis- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, October 26, 2017. Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Tuesday October 31, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Gerard was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, He married Jacqueline Gire in Flint on August 8, 1959. Gerard proudly served his county in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from SMS with 30 years of service and enjoyed golfing and the Detroit Red Wings. Surviving are: wife of 58 years, Jacqueline of Swartz Creek; daughter Kellie Wrice (Justus Woods) of Highland; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
